Bush fails to capture bin Laden at Tora Bora

ignore the historical revisionism, the repositioning, the repackaging, the remarketing. the singular most crucial military and strategic target on
prez bush's "war on terror" was fumbled and missed at Tora Bora. PERIOD.

maybe distractions of Iraq invasion planning, caused Bush to fail to follow through.
had president Bush executed (CEO speak for get the job done) he might not have
to resort to LIES to recapture the white house. Will this president take
responsibility for anything?

Look at the lede of this Washington Post article from April 17, 2002 ...

The Bush administration has concluded that Osama bin Laden was present during the battle for Tora Bora late last year and that failure to commit U.S. ground troops to hunt him was its gravest error in the war against al Qaeda, according to civilian and military officials with first-hand knowledge.
That really says it all.
